“If you wanna change the world, start by making your bed in the morning. If you make your bed you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride and it will encourage you to do another task. And another, and another. By the end of the day, that one task completed will have turned into many tasks completed. Making your bed will also reinforce the fact that the little things in life matter. If you can't do the little things right, you'll never be able to do the big things right. If by chance, you have a miserable day, you will come home to a bed that is made. That YOU made. And a made bed gives your encouragement that tomorrow will be better"
- Former US Navy Admiral , William H. McRaven.
Personally, my bedroom is “my place” where I find inner peace and where I can be by myself; and coming home to a made bed in the afternoon after a long day on uni, certainly makes me more happy and calm.
I know I’ve shared this quote before, but had to again... cuz it’s so damn right! So this is my Monday inspiration and boost for you guys. Start by doing your bed in the morning and you'll be able to face the following challenges of the day... and week! ❤️ "
Ett inlägg jag la upp på instagram 100kitchenstories igår; min måndags-boost till er. Det är förvisso tisdag idag men boosten och syftet i citatet är detsamma - "if you wanna change the world, start by making your bed in the morning". Du kommer älska dessa små saker - som en bäddad säng - när du har en dålig dag. Jag lovar.
